Welcome to your first step on the road to taking positive action and creating powerful, lasting change in your life.
A whole range of events and situations may be the root cause of your feelings. Workplace issues, social situations or family problems may be sources of challenge, and we find ourselves falling back on the same unhelpful patterns of behaviour and response. These are the times when we need help to see the way forward and create a more positive future.
Many of our challenges are associated with stress and anxiety which may be triggered by work, study and exams, social situations and relationship issues.
I work in partnership with my clients to help them develop their own inner resources and solutions to overcome a variety of different issues and to help them restore an overall sense of well-being, confidence and self-esteem.
I work with children, young people and adults on issues related to stress, anxiety and fears arising from a life challenge. Whether you are suffering from low self-esteem, lack of confidence or general social anxiety; or whether you are concerned about an important exam, interview, public speaking engagement or presentation we can find techniques to help you.
I conduct my sessions in a confidential, supportive, solution focused way, in a comfortable and safe environment. To find out more about me and my qualifications, please see my 'About Me' page.
Before we begin working together, I offer a free 15 minute phone call, so that I can find out more about you and the challenges you are facing. It is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have and to establish if I am the right therapist for you.
Moving forward, our first initial assessment will take place online and it takes about 60-90 minutes. During this time I will find out more about you, your background and the issues you are facing so I can begin to plan your therapeutic pathway.
